Pies Descalzos

Description

Pies Descalzos. Organic white wine made by Bodega Marañones in the D.O. Vinos de Madrid (Paraje de Peña Cruzada, Sierra de Gredos), from 100% Albillo Real grapes and aged for 12 months on its lees. This grape variety has a very low yield, and therefore production is very limited, and even more so as it comes from old vines over 50 years old. Bottling is done without filtering. It has a light golden color and a very mineral nose with complex aromas of stone fruit and white flowers. The palate is saline-mineral with a bitter finish typical of the variety.
