Description

Gramona Imperial Brut. This is a magnificent sparkling wine from CORPINNAT producer Gramona. Gramona have been masters of their art since the 1850s, and this vintage sparkler is a testament to all that history and tradition. The Imperial is an organic blend of Macabeo (40%), Xarel·lo (40%), Chardonnay (15%) and Parellada (5%) that has aged on its lees for 56 months! The nose is real delight: subtle toast and yeast notes of the ageing dance above white fruits like apples and peaches and some dried nuts and aniseed. The palate is wide on entry and velvety. The aftertaste is like fruitcake.
