Description

Domus. Red wine from Bodegas Roandi elaborated in the D.O. Valdeorras, from Mencía varieties and a pinch of Sousón and Albarello. Aged for 12 months in American and French oak barrels. Old vineyards settled on slate soils, poor in organic matter, with an average altitude of 600 m. The grapes were harvested at low temperatures, with selection in the vineyard and in the winery, and the winemaking process began with a cold pre-fermentation maceration after crushing and destemming the grapes. The wine has an intense purple color with violet hues. On the nose, it presents aromas of vanilla and toast, as well as ripe red fruits and floral notes, with exotic notes from the aging in fine wood. The palate is very balanced, round, silky, with the fruit prevailing.
