Capricho de Sousón

Description

Capricho de Sousón. Red wine produced by Adega Ponte da Boga in the D.O. Ribeira Sacra that recovers the Sousón grape variety. The grapes are destemmed and crushed, and fermented for 10 days with gentle pumping over, followed by maceration for 8 to 10 days. It is then aged for 10 months in French oak barrels. To the eye it has a dark, vivid bluish hue. The nose is intense, with notes of blueberry, pencil lead, fresh pepper, cocoa and cedar. The palate is dominated by blueberries, fresh pepper and pencil lead.
