Description

Camino a Pardos 80. 100% Garnacha red wine made by Sociedad Cooperativa Virgen de la Peana in the D.O. Calatayud from old vines between 80 and 110 years old. Aged for 8 months in French oak barrels. Complex, slightly perfumed. Fruit with quite present wood that gives it character and maturity. Ripe red and black fruits, berries. Toasted and smoky notes, roasted. Sweet spices, peppers, cloves, slightly balsamic, with an interesting mineral background. Ideal with red meats and very fatty fish.
