Bardos Reserva

Description

Bardos Reserva. A bulky and hefty D.O. Ribera del Duero from the team at Bodega de Bardos. They have vineyards in the most extreme high-altitude part of the meseta; so the resulting wines always have a real presence and weight to them. This wine is Tempranillo mostly, but also has some Cabernet Sauvignon blended in. Big oaky nose with hints of tobacco and vanilla and then morello cherry, dark plums and blackcurrants. The palate is deep, full-bodied and persistent. This wine is so good UK Wine Guru Tim Atkin MW gave it 96 points!
