Alexander vs The Ham Factory. If there was one word that could define this wine it would be: elegant. This flagship project of Casa Rojo is a masterclass in class and fine winemaking. It has been one of our favourites since we opened. This red is a finely-tuned blend of Tempranillo (85%), Cabernet Sauvignon (5%), Malbec (5%) and Merlot (5%) that has spent 18 months in new French oak barrels. The nose is dark compote back fruits with notes of cacao, chocolate, mocha, and some vanilla. The palate is full and flavourful and truly exquisite.
